Aldous Tyler is ready to file as Democratic challenger to Obama in New Hampshire primary; Catherine Austin Fitts served at HUD in Bush I, and has lots to say about the mortgage bubble, the drug war, John Perkins and 9/11. She speaks in Mill Valley on October 27.Tyler is carrying a message from me and other progressives that Obama has not only not delivered for his liberal base, he has spurned us with the (further) expansion of presidential power with the killing of al-Awlaki and the new crackdown on medical cannabis in California. Tyler is getting ready to file candidate papers to be on the New Hampshire Democratic primary ballot as an alternative to the incumbent, and needs your support. Donate at his website.
At about 20 minutes in, Catherine Austin Fitts joins us. With a Wharton MBA and heavy experience at Dillon, Read on Wall St., she predicted the burst of the housing bubble, and has interesting insights about the recent plundering and the more recent protests. She has some comments about John Perkins, the self-confessed international hit man and about disaster capitalism. She says the drug war is working, just not as it is advertised; and she approaches 9/11 as an episode of profiteering capitalism. Fitts is smart, with a good sense of humor, and is speaking at an event at the Mill Valley Community Center on October 27, 2011 at 7pm. Your humble host is curious, and plans to be there. Details on Fitts and the event are here.
