Baker and his colleagues continue to ask the hard questions about the government and media narratives of the Boston Marathon bombing investigation. In this 2-part report, they expose the contradictions in the reports attributed to “Danny”, an unidentified Chinese national who works at a tech startup and was cruising around Boston in his Mercedes on April 19 last year. “Danny” says he was carjacked by the Tsarnaevs, who bragged about their role in the marathon attack and also said they had just killed an MIT campus cop. Baker shows the contradictions and inconsistencies in the accounts, and was deflected by intermediaries when he attempted to interview “Danny”.
We also discuss the role of the media and people like John Miller, the former FBI PR guy who covered the case for CBS on 60 Minutes and recently returned to law enforcement at NYPD. Baker promises more soon on the related case of the FBI killing of Ibragim Todashev, a friend of the Tsarnaevs.
